April Variety Star Brand Reputation Rankings Announced

The Korean Business Research Institute has published this month’s brand reputation rankings for variety stars!

The rankings were determined through an analysis of the consumer participation, media coverage, interaction, and community awareness indexes of 50 popular entertainers, using big data collected from March 6 to April 6.

Yoo Jae Suk held onto his spot at the top of the list this month with a brand reputation index of 3,100,878, marking a 1.51 percent increase in his score since March. High-ranking phrases in his keyword analysis included “You Quiz on the Block,” “Running Man,” and “Just an Excuse,” while his highest-ranking related terms included “talk,” “donate,” and “impersonate.” Yoo Jae Suk’s positivity-negativity analysis also revealed a score of 87.24 percent positive reactions.

Meanwhile, Nam Hee Seok took second place for the month with a brand reputation index of 2,633,284.

Jang Do Yeon shot to third place after seeing a whopping 233.07 percent increase in her brand reputation index since March, bringing her total score for April to 2,051,554.

Lee Hyori came in at a close fourth with a brand reputation index of 1,970,367, and Park Myung Soo rounded out the top five with a score of 1,578,251.
