BABYMONSTER’s “SHEESH” MV Hits 100 Million Views In Just 10 Days + Becomes Fastest K-Pop MV To Achieve Feat In 2024
BABYMONSTER has set another impressive YouTube record!
On April 11, YG Entertainment announced that as of 11:35 a.m. KST that day, the music video for BABYMONSTER’s “SHEESH,” which is their first comeback with all seven members including Ahyeon, surpassed 100 million views on YouTube.
After the music video for “SHEESH” was first released on April 1 at midnight KST, it took just 10 days and 11 hours to reach the milestone, making “SHEESH” their fastest music video to achieve this impressive feat following “BATTER UP,” which also took only 18 days while setting a new YouTube record for being the fastest K-pop girl group debut music video to reach 100 million views.
This new record further marks the fastest speed to reach 100 million views among music videos of K-pop artists that debuted after 2017. Even in the larger scope of K-pop girl groups of all time, BLACKPINK is the only girl group with a record of achieving the 100 million view milestone faster than “SHEESH.”
As a result, BABYMONSTER now has three music videos with hundreds of millions of views including “BATTER UP,” which surpassed 100 million views in just 18 days and 200 million views in 53 days, and “Stuck In The Middle,” which achieved 100 million views in 38 days.
Congratulations to BABYMONSTER on their impressive achievement!
