Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2024, April Week 2
ILLIT’s “Magnetic” is the No. 1 song for the second consecutive week. Congratulations to ILLIT!
Moving up one spot to No. 2 again is (G)I-DLE’s “Fate.”
Four new songs debuted in the top 10 this week.
Debuting at No. 3 is TXT’s “Deja Vu,” the title track from their sixth mini album “minisode 3: TOMORROW.” It is a pop style song which is a hybrid of trap’s sub-genre rage and emo rock. The lyrics express how they will reunite like promised in the past, describing the moment of reunion as deja vu.
LE SSERAFIM’s “Smart,” a B-side track from their third mini album “EASY,” debuts at No. 4. “Smart” is a dance track about the aspiration to become the winner of this world with the cleverness to see through everything.
YG Entertainment’s rookie girl group BABYMONSTER enters at No. 6 with “SHEESH,” the title track of their first mini album “BABYMONS7ER.” It is a hip hop/dance track with a Baroque-style piano melody and grand synthesizer sounds. The lyrics express BABYMONSTER’s ambition to make the world “SHEESH.
KISS OF LIFE achieves their first top 10 hit on our chart with “Midas Touch” at No. 8. “Midas Touch” is a song that makes listeners reminisce of mainstream pop songs from the 2000s, and the lyrics tell an honest story about love.
