ILLIT Becomes 1st K-Pop Group To Enter Billboard Hot 100 With Debut Song
ILLIT has set more than one record on Billboard’s Hot 100!
The rookie girl group from BELIFT LAB has already made their official debut on the Hot 100, Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular songs in the United States. For the week ending on April 20, ILLIT’s debut track “Magnetic” entered the Hot 100 at No. 91, marking their first-ever entry on the chart.
ILLIT has now become the first K-pop group ever to land their debut song on the Hot 100 (and only the ninth K-pop group to enter the chart at all).
Additionally, ILLIT has broken FIFTY FIFTY’s record for the fastest K-pop group to enter the Hot 100. ILLIT debuted just three weeks before scoring their first chart entry (while FIFTY FIFTY took just over four months to enter the chart for the first time).
Congratulations to ILLIT on their record-breaking debut!
