ALICE's Sohee Announces Marriage Plans + To Retire From Entertainment Industry
ALICE’s Sohee is getting married and retiring from the industry.
On April 26, a media outlet reported that Sohee is marrying her boyfriend, a businessman who is 15 years older than her whom she has been dating for a year, and will also be retiring. The report also included that they have plans to register their marriage next month and hold a small wedding with their families and friends within this year.
In response to the report, a representative of Sohee’s agency IOK Company confirmed, “Sohee is planning to marry her boyfriend, who is 15 years older than her, this year. Her exclusive contract with IOK Company expires in May, and she plans to retire from the entertainment industry as soon as she gets married.”
They added, “Sohee announced the news of her marriage while she was discussing with the agency regarding the expiration of her exclusive contract, and naturally it was decided that she will not renew her contract.”
Sohee was a runner-up contestant on SBS’s girl group audition program “K-Pop Star 6” in 2017 and debuted as a member of ALICE (formerly ELRIS) in the same year. Sohee has also been pursuing acting activities, most recently starring in “Duty After School” in 2023.
