IVE Tops iTunes Charts All Over The World + Breaks Own 1st-Day Sales Record With "IVE SWITCH"

IVE’s latest comeback is off to a strong start!

On April 29 at 6 p.m. KST, IVE made their highly-anticipated return with their second EP “IVE SWITCH” and its two title tracks, “HEYA” and “Accendio.”

By the following morning, “IVE SWITCH” had already shot to the top of iTunes charts in various countries across the globe. As of 8 a.m. KST on April 30, the EP had hit No. 1 on iTunes Top Albums charts in at least 16 different regions including Norway, Costa Rica, Malaysia, Turkey, Vietnam, and more. Meanwhile, “HEYA” had already reached No. 1 on iTunes Top Songs charts in three different regions.

IVE’s new music video for “HEYA” also soared to No. 1 on YouTube’s Trending Worldwide chart, in addition to ranking high on all of Korea’s major domestic realtime charts.

Additionally, according to Hanteo Chart, “IVE SWITCH” sold an impressive total of 746,118 copies on its first day of sales alone—breaking IVE’s previous first-day sales record of 726,455 set by their last EP “I’VE MINE” in October.
