Lee Joon, Uhm Ki Joon, And Lee Jung Shin Have A Tense Relationship In “The Escape Of The Seven: Resurrection”
SBS’s “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” has shared new stills ahead of its upcoming episode!
Season 2 of the hit 2023 drama “The Escape of the Seven,” which told the revenge story about a man who dreams of becoming the king of a castle built on fake news, “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” depicts the counterattack of the seven people, who returned from hell, against new evil that held hands with Matthew Lee (Uhm Ki Joon).

Previously in “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection,” Matthew Lee took Noh Han Na (Shim Ji Yoo) hostage and pressured Yang Jin Mo (Yoon Jong Hoon) to resume the Gagok District development project.
However, Yang Jin Mo later joined forces with Min Do Hyuk (Lee Joon) and abruptly put a stop to the development plan, thwarting Matthew Lee’s scheme, which infuriated Matthew Lee even more.
The tension then reached its peak when Matthew Lee shot Go Myung Ji (Jo Yoon Hee).
The released stills depict Matthew Lee and Hwang Chan Sung (Lee Jung Shin) at the police station. Matthew Lee looks like he’s suppressing his anger, while Hwang Chan Sung has a cold expression on his face as he stares at Matthew Lee. Meanwhile, Min Do Hyuk is captured visiting the police station, making viewers wonder if he will be able to break the evil alliance between Matthew Lee and Hwang Chan Sung, which has grown stronger.
The production team of “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” commented, “In the upcoming episode, Matthew Lee and Hwang Chan Sung will form an alliance to escape the crisis.”
The next episode of “The Escape of the Seven: Resurrection” will air on May 3 at 10 p.m. KST.
