AOA's Dohwa (Formerly Chanmi) Parts Ways With FNC After 15 Years
AOA’s Dohwa (formerly Chanmi) has parted ways with her agency after their exclusive contracts expired.
On May 21, Dohwa took to her Instagram and shared a heartfelt letter to her fans as below:
Hello! This is Dohwa.
I’m leaving FNC, which I’ve been with for 15 years, and taking on a new challenge!
I thank FNC for walking down the path with me in faith for a long time!
I joined at the age of 15, became an adult, and as I approach the age of 30, there are so many things I am thankful for.
I will cherish and remember the love you gave me, and I will continue my future activities happily with a right mind.I’m happy to have met ELVIS (AOA’s official fan club name).
Let’s continue our journey together in the future as well.
Last year, she revealed that she changed her name to Dohwa while starring in the web variety program “GIRL’S RE:VERSE.” She debuted as a member of AOA in 2012 and promoted under the name Chanmi before changing her name. Dohwa expanded her scope as an actress by appearing in various projects including the films “A Different Girl” and “Refresh” as well as the KBS2 drama “Brain Works.”
Wishing all the best to Dohwa on her new start!
