Pyo Ye Jin And Lee Jun Young Explain Their Styling For New Drama "Dreaming Of A Freaking Fairy Tale"
TVING’s upcoming drama “Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale” has unveiled new stills featuring Pyo Ye Jin and Lee Jun Young!
“Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale” is a romantic comedy that tells the story of Shin Jae Rim (Pyo Ye Jin), who, in the face of harsh reality, decides to pursue her dream of becoming a Cinderella, and Moon Cha Min (Lee Jun Young), a chaebol heir who doesn’t believe in love.
The newly released stills showcase Shin Jae Rim and Moon Cha Min’s styling for the upcoming drama.
Regarding Pyo Ye Jin’s role as Shin Jae Rim, she noted that Shin Jae Rim is a unique character actively seeking a husband, representing both a familial legacy and a personal ambition. Pyo Ye Jin admired the character’s determination to achieve her goal.
She revealed she opted for a more universal style for the character, something familiar to many. “I chose styles like C-curls and bangs, easy for everyday wear, while still exuding a cute and confident charm,” she explained.
Meanwhile, to capture the luxurious appeal of the conglomerate heir, Lee Jun Young explained, “I aimed for the concept of a fairy tale prince,” noting, “Initially, I felt a bit shy before donning the suit, but once I did, it felt like wearing armor.”
He stated, “Cha Min was called ‘Golden Kid’ on set. You’ll understand why once you watch the show.” He also added, “Expect plenty of adorable, playful, and endearing moments, so I hope you’re eager to see them.”
In the drama, Moon Cha Min is always seen with a beloved umbrella nicknamed “Chairman Go.” He admitted, “Initially, it was a bit awkward to navigate with it, but as time went on and I kept carrying Chairman Go and sharing my thoughts with it, it started feeling odd when it wasn’t with me.”
Lee Jun Young is poised to delicately craft an adult fairy tale, infused with love and dedication to his character. He expressed hope that both those eager to witness his new portrayal and those seeking a smile amid challenges will find joy in their work.
Meanwhile, Pyo Ye Jin carefully breathes life into her character by focusing on details like emotions, goals, and styling choices. Sharing her wish to bring happiness to Cinderella dreamers, she shared, “The drama will begin on a light note and evolve into a heartwarming tale that uplifts viewers. “Dreaming of a Freaking Fairy Tale” is set to premiere on May 31.
