Wi Ha Joon And Jung Ryeo Won Turn Crisis Into Opportunity In "The Midnight Romance In Hagwon"
tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” has shared a sneak peek of its upcoming episode!
Helmed by director Ahn Pan Seok of the hit drama “Something in the Rain,” “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” is a new romance set against the backdrop of Daechi, a neighborhood known as the epicenter of private education in Korea due to its high concentration of hagwons (private educational institutions).
Spoilers
On the previous episode of the drama, Lee Joon Ho (Wi Ha Joon) and Seo Hye Jin (Jung Ryeo Won) were thrown for a loop when only one student showed up at their special lecture.
In newly released stills from the drama’s next episode, Seo Hye Jin sits down for a secret meeting with Choi Hyung Sun (Seo Jeong Yeon), the rival instructor who foiled their lecture plans. The tension is palpable between the two teachers, raising the question of why Seo Hye Jin might have gone all the way to Choi Hyung Sun’s hagwon to meet with her.
When Choi Hyung Sun unexpectedly makes her a job offer, Seo Hye Jin scrutinizes her carefully, as if trying to figure out the other woman’s motives.
Meanwhile, Lee Joon Ho has an unexpected meeting of his own with Lee Si Woo (Cha Kang Yoon), the lone student who turned up at their empty lecture. Lee Si Woo, who turned out to be the top student at his school, was so impressed by their lecture that he even declared he wanted to change hagwons.
In the new photos, Lee Joon Ho wears a bright smile on his face as he offers Lee Si Woo advice during a counseling section. Although the lecture he prepared didn’t go as planned, its looks as though Lee Joon Ho may have a new opportunity on his hands in the form of Lee Si Woo.
The drama’s production team teased, “A new opportunity will find its way to Seo Hye Jin and Lee Joon Ho. Please look froward to seeing whether the two of them will be able to turn their crisis into an opportunity, as well as the entertaining changes during their journey of growth.”
The next episode of “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” will air on May 25 at 9:20 p.m. KST.
