Jang Nara, Nam Ji Hyun, P.O, And More Impress At Script Reading For Upcoming Law Drama "Good Partner"

SBS’s upcoming drama “Good Partner” has shared photos from its script reading!

“Good Partner” is an office and law drama about star lawyer Cha Eun Kyung, for whom divorce is her calling, and rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri, who is new to divorce. The drama will be penned by divorce specialist lawyer Choi Yu Na of the relatable Instagram cartoon “Marriage Red” (literal title), and the drama will be helmed by director Kim Ga Ram of “Nevertheless,” “Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency,” and “Vampire Detective.”

Writer Choi Yu Na and director Kim Ga Ram were present at the script reading along with cast members Jang Nara, Nam Ji Hyun, Kim Jun Han, Block B’s P.O, Ji Seung Hyun, and Han Jae Yi.

As soon as the script reading began, the actors showcased strong chemistry and passionate performances.

Jang Nara stars as Cha Eun Kyung, a top divorce lawyer. Cha Eun Kyung, a 17-year veteran, is known for being straightforward and a bit prickly. At a crossroads in her life, she clashes and bonds with rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri, who is her complete opposite, leading to significant changes. Jang Nara portrays the upheavals in Cha Eun Kyung’s once-perfect life, adding unique charm and highlighting her distinctive style as a star lawyer and realist.

Nam Ji Hyun plays rookie lawyer Han Yu Ri, who is new to divorce cases. Her character frequently clashes with Cha Eun Kyung, who prioritizes the firm’s interests and efficiency, leading to personal growth. Nam Ji Hyun portrays Han Yu Ri’s boldness, highlighting her intolerance for injustice. The dynamic between the characters of Jang Nara and Nam Ji Hyun, who fuel each other’s growth, is flawlessly depicted.

Kim Jun Han plays the role of Jung Woo Jin, the team leader of law firm Daejeong’s Divorce Team 2. As Cha Eun Kyung’s dependable junior, he maintains a respectful distance, having supported her for a long time. Kim Jun Han effectively portrays Woo Jin’s gentle charisma, offering candid advice to Cha Eun Kyung despite his mild-mannered demeanor.

Block B’s P.O portrays optimistic lawyer Jeon Eun Ho, advocating for work-love balance. He impresses as Han Yu Ri’s mentor, retaining new recruits to the divorce team. The charming chemistry between Han Yu Ri and Jeon Eun Ho sparked laughter and a lively atmosphere at the script reading.

Ji Seung Hyun plays Kim Ji Sang, who serves as a medical advisor at Daejeong Law Firm and is Cha Eun Kyung’s husband. His character’s commitment to creating a happy home life and his wholehearted dedication to Cha Eun Kyung’s welfare highlight his affectionate nature, grabbing attention.

Han Jae Yi impresses as Choi Sa Ra, Cha Eun Kyung’s devoted secretary of 10 years. Rising from secretary to team leader, she displays perseverance. Han Jae Yi adeptly portrays Sa Ra’s blend of admiration and jealousy toward Cha Eun Kyung, deepening her character and engagement.
