"Miss Night And Day" Premieres To Promising Ratings
JTBC’s “Miss Night and Day” is off to a strong start!
On June 15, the new rom-com starring Apink’s Jeong Eun Ji, Choi Jin Hyuk, and Lee Jung Eun premiered to higher viewership ratings than its predecessor “The Atypical Family” (the drama that previously occupied its time slot).
According to Nielsen Korea, the first episode of “Miss Night and Day” scored an average nationwide rating of 4.0 percent. (For comparison, “The Atypical Family” premiered to a nationwide average of 3.3 percent last month.)
Meanwhile, tvN’s “The Midnight Romance in Hagwon” took first place in its time slot across all cable channels with an average nationwide rating of 3.4 percent.
MBN’s “Missing Crown Prince”—which has just one episode left in its run—earned an average nationwide rating of 4.2 percent ahead of its series finale.
SBS’s “Connection” remained the most-watched miniseries of the week with an average nationwide rating of 9.1 percent, while MBC’s “Bitter Sweet Hell”—which airs in the same time sot—scored a nationwide average of 4.8 percent.
Finally, KBS 2TV’s “Beauty and Mr. Romantic” continued its reign as the most-watched show of Saturday with an average nationwide rating of 16.2 percent.
