"Synchro U" Confirmed To Return As Regular Program With Yoo Jae Suk + Shares Broadcast Plans
Pilot program “Synchro U” will be returning as a regular program on KBS!
On June 17, a source from KBS shared, “‘Synchro U,’ which broadcast for two episodes as a pilot variety program, is confirmed to air as a regular program in the second half of the year.” They continued, “The official ‘Synchro U,’ which will be upgraded with MC Yoo Jae Suk at the center, will [broadcast] soon. Please look forward to it.”
“Synchro U” is a music variety show that showcases cover stages performed by top artists together with AI vocals that boast a 99 percent synchronization rate to those of the real artists. The cast works to discern the 1 percent of the real artists’ vocals while enjoying the fantastic cover stages.
The pilot program initially broadcast twice in May and starred Yoo Jae Suk, Lee Juck, Lee Yong Jin, BTOB’s Yook Sungjae, SEVENTEEN’s Hoshi, and aespa’s Karina. The first episode also reached a peak viewership rating of 3.6 percent, ranking No. 1 among variety programs in its time slot for both episodes among viewers from ages 20 to 49.
