Park Yong Ha Dead at 33
We are very sad to report that actor and singer Park Yong Ha has died at the age of 33. His body was discovered by his mother at 5:30 AM on June 30 in his home in the Non Hyun Dong district of Seoul. A mobile phone charger cord was tied around his neck. His death is presumed to be a suicide. One friend reported that he had seemed depressed for months, with his father suffering from late-stage stomach cancer.
Park Yong Ha was a very talented actor who costarred in the famous “Winter Sonata” drama with Bae Yong Joon and Choi Ji Woo, which cemented his success in Japan and Korea. He was due to star with Yoon Eun Hye in the upcoming drama Love Song. He was also a successful singer who released several popular albums in Japan.
