U-KISS signs with Avex for Japanese debut
U-KISS is signing with one of Japan’s biggest agencies, Avex, for their advance into Japan.
Through a press release sent on June 4th, U-KISS’s agency, NH Media stated that “U-Kiss has signed a contract with Japan’s largest agency, Avex, and will begin their advance into Japan.”
The group has been receiving calls from various Japanese agencies, since last year. NH Media finally decided to sign a contract with Avex in June.
The band’s activities will be based in Osaka and they are currently preparing for their Japanese debut. A Japanese licensed version of their album “0330” will be released on August 24th.
Following the release of “0330,” the band will release a Japanese single in December followed by their first national tour and concert album next year.
Avex said that they will be fully supporting U-KISS in their Japanese activities.
Avex continues to be one of the top agencies in Japan. Part of its roster of artists include Ayumi Hamasaki, EXILE and Koda Kumi, as well as BoA and DBSK.
