How Much Does It Cost to Maintain an Idol Girl Group?
Y-Star‘s “Curious” takes a look at the cost of maintaining an idol girl group. The producers of the program did some calculations: it turns out that one month’s expenses for a seven-member girl group are as high as a staggering $65,000!
Rent takes up the highest percentage of the cost, with lodging expenses going up to $24,000–and this is just the beginning. Girl group members also need to look glamorous and maintain their hair and skin carefully. The costs for a hairdresser is $20,000 per month, even with a 50% discount that celebrities are entitled to. Skin care costs are no less than $10,000. Last but not least, transportation. Costs for idol travel go up to $11,000.
More details on these will be revealed on the September 8 edition of Y-Star’s “Curious.”
