Highlights of "SMTOWN Live in Tokyo" Are Revealed
SM Entertainment has just uploaded a video with the highlights of the recent “SMTOWN Live in Tokyo” concert.
Uploaded on September 7 on their YouTube channel, the video titled “SMTOWN Live in Tokyo Special Edition Highlight” contains some choice clips from artists’ performances and some audience interaction.
The clip begins with f(x) giving their opening greetings and a snippet of them performing their latest song “Hot Summer.” f(x) has just announced that they will be making their Japanese debut in January next year.
Next was SHINee with their greetings and a performance of the Japanese version of “Juliette.” “Juliette” is SHINee’s second Japanese single.
Super Junior wowed the crowd with the track “BIJIN,” which is the Japanese version of their hit song “BONAMANA.” The crowd instantly turned into a sea of sapphire blue.
SNSD sang their debut Japanese hit “Mr. Taxi” and the title track off their first Japanese album. Unfortunately, Sooyoung was present because she was still in recovery from the car accident she was involved in.
BoA was warmly received by the Japanese fans, being in the Japanese music industry for so long. In the video, BoA is belting out lyrics to “I SEE ME.” With her powerful vocals, BoA has not stopped captivating Japanese fans.
DBSK riled up the audience with a song from their upcoming Japanese album titled “B.U.T.” Fans are eagerly anticipating the release of the duo’s next Japanese album “TONE.”
The highlight video ends with a performance from the entire roster of SMTOWN singing the song “Hope.”
SMTOWN will be having another concert in New York on October 23 at the Madison Square Garden. The Tokyo concert had a successful run from September 2 to 4 at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
