BoA Will Not Have a Korean Comeback This Year

Fans of BoA have been speculating whether or not the singer will be making a comeback anytime soon after BoA tweeted that she spent her Chuseok holiday in the recording studio last September 11.

Various artists are scheduled to return to the music scene around this time. Artists include Brown Eyed Girls, SNSD, and the Wonder Girls to name a few.

SM Entertainment diffused speculations of a comeback from BoA.  An official stated that, “It is a fact that BoA was in the recording studio during the Chuseok holidays and people have questioned whether she will make a comeback in Korea. But there is no plans for her to release new songs in Korea this year. She records song whenever she can. Most likely, the songs she recorded during the Chuseok holidays will be released in Japan as a single or album.”

BoA’s Hollywood movie “COBU 3D” is set for an early 2012 release. She will also be one of the judges of the upcoming SBS show “K-Pop Star” which is set to air on October 12.
