"I Am a Singer" Plans To Have Contestants Sing Duets

MBC’s “I Am a Singer” plans on having its contestants to pair up for their upcoming mission.

On next week’s episode, the remaining seven singers will meet their “mystery partner”- equally talented and renown musicians who have never appeared on “I Am a Singer” before. Monday’s show will transition from the Jo Yong Pil special which aired last week and weave into the duet mission.

Critics note that due to the success of “I Am a Singer” veterans releasing duets and their highly positive reception, such as the song “Person Who Gives Me Happiness” showcased by Lee Sora and Kim Bum Soo in the episode aired June 25 as well as Kim Bum Soo and Park Jung Hyun’s “The Scar Deeper Than Love” released on August 21, this week’s mission is going to have a lot of anticipation and expectations for the singers up on the stage.
