[Update] SNSD and Soompi SMTOWN NYC Ticket Giveaway

Hey New York Soompiers,

You probably already know that the biggest K-Pop event of the season, the SMTOWN NYC concert, is completely sold out! If you don’t already have tickets, don’t cry anymore! Soompi is giving three lucky people a chance to win a pair of tickets each! To give you a better chance of winning, we’re giving you three different ways to enter: writing, photo, or video. So pick the method that best suits your talents, or just enter all three categories. Here’s the rundown:

• Writing: Explain, in 100 words or less, why you love SNSD and want to see them live in concert. Post your entry in the SMTOWN NYC Ticket Giveaway Contest thread in our SNSD subforum.

• Photo: Take a photo that displays your love for SNSD. Whether it’s original artwork, a costume/dress-up opportunity, or a huge collection of SNSD albums and posters, we want to see it! Upload the photo to the Soompi Facebook wall. In the caption, include your Soompi username.

• Video: Get out your webcam or video recorder. Record a video explaining, in one minute or less, why you love SNSD and want to see them live in concert. Upload the video to YouTube with the title “Soompi SNSD SMTOWN NYC Contest.” In the caption, include your Soompi username.

The contest ends on Thursday, 10/20, 9 PM EST (Friday 10 AM KST). We will announce the winners by Friday, 10/21, 9 PM EST (Saturday 10 AM KST). Check out our SNSD “The Boys” comeback page to see our exclusive events! Good luck!

Update (10/21, 1 PM EST): We have chosen the winners! It was a close call as there were some pretty good entries, but we ended up having to eliminate a surprising number due to not following the rules (yes, we mean what we say about word and length limits!).
