If you’ve paid the slightest attention to the industry, then you’ll know that white is this season’s hottest color. As shown in numerous catwalks, parties, press conferences, and more, the little white dress is the new LBD.

However, many people are often hesitant in choosing an all-white look. Here’s a tip. Try matching your white outfits with neutral-colored accessories to create a soft, sophisticated look. Take “The Princess’s Man’s” Moon Chae Won’s look at the DKNY event as an example. The actress matched her white boxy dress with a brown watch and brown sandals for a modern, yet feminine look.

If you feel slightly more comfortable with white, you might as well go for this year’s trendy head-to-toe white ensemble. “Mischievous Kiss’s” Jung So Min expressed a lovely, girly look, wearing a white dress with a unique neckline and white sandals at the press conference of her latest sitcom “Standby.” “Thorn Bird’s” Kim Min Jung donned a white dress, complete with the lacy sleeve details, to a Vera Wang event. She took the all-white concept even further by matching her outfit with a white studded bag and white sandals.

The “white dresses are hard” excuse no longer cuts it. Be brave this season, and try on that white dress. Moon Chae Won’s stylist Shin Ji Hye suggests, “Go for crispier fabrics like linen or cotton instead of silk, and minimize on accessories.”
