[Hiring] Soompi Internship Available!

We are currently looking for an energetic and passionate intern to be part of our team in Seoul. We’re looking for a full-time intern, based in Seoul, to help with editorial duties, promotions, as well as miscellaneous duties. Assignments will vary, but they will allow you to gain experience in different fields in the online media business.

As an intern, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: writing and editing articles, subtitling interviews with K-Pop stars, using social media to publicize content, running promotions with entertainment agencies, analyzing site traffic, and more.

You will have to report to our office in Seoul and will be working for five days a week (Mon-Fri). The position is paid. However, we will not be providing housing nor transportation expenses. Additionally, you must be able to work legally in Korea. You will need a proper visa. F-4 (for people of Korean heritage) and H-1 (for people from Canada, Australia, France, New Zealand, and Japan) are fine. Other visas may be considered as well. For more information, click here.

Requirements:

Fluent enough in Korean to be able to read and translate written material
Have strong command of English grammar
Have good knowledge of the Korean entertainment industry
Must be organized and pro-active
