Kollaboration Tulsa Is Right Around the Corner!

Soompiers in the midwest! Mark you calendars for Kollaboration Tulsa! The showcase will take place at the Union Performing Arts Center this Saturday, October 20, 2012, and will be hosted by Kollaboration alumni and famous comedian Joey Guila! For more information about Kollaboration Tulsa, visit their official website!

The lineup for 2012 Kollaboration Tulsa includes: Pavoua Xiong, vocalist; Magic Meng, magician; Drew Crew, hip-hop dance team; Key Yang, vocalist; Johnny Xiong, vocalist; Kripalaya Dance Academy, Bollywood dance team; Shillbe Lor, vocalist; James Nghiem, comedian; and Lighta, rapper. The nine contestants will compete for the grand prize of $1,000.

Doors will open at 5PM on October 20 and the show will start at 6PM. 

Founded in 2000 with a single show in Los Angeles, Kollaboration is an arts and entertainment nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting positive and accurate perceptions of Asians and Pacific Islanders by providing a platform for artists to showcase their talents. Kollaboration  has since grown and produces 15 shows across 13 cities in North America, including Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, New York, Toronto, and more.
