SHINee Successfully Completes Its Second Japan Arena Tour
The members of SHINee celebrated their Christmas with a hot performance in Tokyo, successfully completing their second Japanese arena tour.
SHINee’s second Japan tour, “Japan Arena Tour SHINee World 2013 – Boys Meet U” began on June 28 at the Saitama Super Arena and made stops in Osaka, Niigata, Hokkaido, Kobe, Hiroshima, Fukuoka, Nagoya, and Tokyo. The show attracted 220,000 fans in nine cities.
The finale performance in Tokyo on December 24 and 25 was held at the Yoyogi National Gymnasium. 24,000 fans filled the stadium as SHINee displayed its distinguished and captivating performances live.
The concert began with a song included in SHINee’s first Japanese album “Stranger” and the group performed its hits including “Juliette,” “Replay,” and “Lucifer.” They also performed their new single “3, 2, 1.” The show lasted for 2.5 hours, captivating the audience with SHINee’s diverse musical colors. “Everybody,” which made it on Billboard’s 2013 chart for best choreography, was performed in Japanese for the first time.
The members of SHINee thanked their fans and said, “We are so happy there are so many people who love our music. We were nervous because this is our last show for this tour, but thank you for all of your cheers. We were happy to be able to see all of your smiles.”
Meanwhile, SHINee will be ending the year with appearances on Gayo Daejuns on KBS, MBC, and SBS.
