Yoon Eun Hye Exhibits Her Own Art at the 10 Corso Como

Fans of the talented actress may already be aware of this fact but Yoon Eun Hye has been a fairly avid and talented painter for a while now. This time, she has really pushed her limits creating her new art work, currently being displayed at the 10 Corso Como outlet.  

For people that are unaware, 10 Corso Como is a series of outlets across the world that deal with the sale of various cultural items such as art and fashion. As part of the sixth anniversary of the opening of the Korean franchise store, actress Yoon Eun Hye had the privilege of participating in their anniversary art gallery. Other artist participating in these celebrations is famed fashion illustrator Tony Viramontes along with six other Korean artists. Suffice to say, Yoon Eun Hye is part of a special group of artists being allowed to exhibit their works here.

This is Yoon Eun Hye first piece of art being displayed at the outlet and the inspiration for her work came from “prayers,” which she symbolised with the cross layout of her art. She states that her inspiration for this art piece came after praying for seven days. Yoon Eun Hye also hand wrote an explanation for her piece to be displayed alongside her art work. 

There is a clear religious context to her work, with the cross shape also symbolizing Jesus Christ; an expression of the ultimate sacrifice he made out of love. It’s probably best to let the artist below explain her work, so here is the translation for her art explanation.

I await one person.

I’m pained but thankful

For that one person’s priceless sacrifice

and for their spilt blood and fluids

We have gained eternal purity

and not just a mere “possibility.”

I believe that the heavens and the Earth were once this close together.

I believe that the heavens and the Earth were intimate with just the space to breath separating them.

The clouds would walk across the lands

And Adam and Eve would walk across the clouds

We must remember this and 

a small grain of wheat like me now dares to try tell everyone about

the priceless love that has been given to us
