4Minute Unveils Music Video for First-Ever Ballad Title Track “Cold Rain”

Girl group 4Minute has unveiled the music video for “Cold Rain,” ahead of the group’s February comeback with “4Minute – Revamped.” The song is the first of two lead tracks on the new release.

“Cold Rain” is a powerful and emotional ballad number, with a piano-led instrumental track, representing quite a break from the group’s more familiar dance-driven musical style. During the video, the members of the group are shown dressed in wintry clothing, such as fur coats and scarves.

Songwriter Son Young Jin (co-writer of “Gimme That” on the “Name is 4Minute” mini album of 2013) worked on “Cold Rain.” The song is the first full-group release since the album “4Minute World,” which was released in March last year and featured the hit track “Whatcha Doin’ Today?”

The group had previously released teaser images for the “Cold Rain” music video via its official Facebook page.
