Red Velvet Releases Colorful MV for "Ice Cream Cake"

SM Entertainment‘s rookie girl group Red Velvet has released the music video for their official title track, “Ice Cream Cake.”

The second half of their double title track along with “Automatic“ which was released earlier, “Ice Cream Cake” is a more energetic song compared to “Automatic.”

The music video is similar to “Automatic” in some aspects, but it is also quite different from the music video that was released previously. “Ice Cream Cake” music video shed most of the eerie aura that was present in the “Automatic” music video, opting for a more upbeat vibe. Both of the music videos were shot in Los Angeles.

Red Velvet will start their official promotions on “Mnet Countdown” on March 19 as a five-member group.
