Exclusive: Seoul International Drama Awards 2015 Red Carpet

This year’s Seoul International Drama Awards boasted a bevy of top stars, both domestic and international. From Lee Min Ho to Bolin Chen and Milo Ventimiglia, it was truly an international affair. Adding on to the global stars, there were a variety of works were featured including Germany’s “Naked Among Wolves” and Korean hits like “Misaeng.” Soompi went directly to the red carpet to take some high quality photos for Soompiers. Actors Lee Dong Wook and Kim Jung Eun were the main emcees for the event. On the red carpet and during the awards ceremony, Kim Jung Eun displayed her fluent English skills!

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” star Soo Hyun (also known as Claudia Kim) accepted the New Trend Award on behalf of the TV series “Marco Polo.”

AOA‘s Seolhyun was gorgeously tan and beautiful in her white dress. White and black were popular colors for outfit choices amongst the red carpet stars.

“Kill Me, Heal Me” actress Hwang Jung Eum wore a pink-toned floor-length dress on the red carpet. She went through a wardrobe change before accepting her Hallyu Drama Actress Award.

Lee Jun Ki received many presents from fans on the red carpet. He also won the Hallyu Drama Actor Award for his work on “The Joseon Gunman.”

Lee Min Ho looks really long and lean in person. The actor was one of the winners of the 10th Anniversary Korean Wave Contribution Award. During his acceptance speech, he thanked Lee Young Ae for her role in the Hallyu Wave.

Actress Lee Young Ae also won a 10th Anniversary Korean Wave Contribution Award. She mentioned her upcoming drama “Saimdang, the Herstory” and asked fans to look forward to it.

Engin Akyürek from Turkey won a Best Actor Award!

We made eye contact with U.S. actor Milo Ventimiglia. His TV show “Chosen” won a New Trend Award.

Japan’s Kamiki Ryunosuke was one of three recipients of the Asia Star Award.

Czech Republic actress Simona Stašová expressed her desire to help women suffering from domestic violence in her acceptance speech after winning the Best Actress Award.

Chinese actor Zhang Han also received an Asia Star Award. The weather was pretty warm, we hope he wasn’t feeling too hot.

“In Time With You” co-stars Bolin Chen and Ariel Lin walked the red carpet together. They both won Asia Star Grand Prizes!

Korean singer The One did not come to the Seoul Drama Awards to sing; he won a popularity award from China’s Mango TV.

There was more representation from Japan with actor Odagiri Joe (far right) and other stars.

Taiwan’s Aaron Yan also won a Asia Star Award. Love the details on the shoulders of his suit!

Chinese actor Wallace Chung also won an Asia Star Grand Award.

Korean actress Choo Ja Hyun is enjoying great popularity in China. She also won a Popularity Award from Mango TV. By the way, she speaks some Mandarin!

Veteran actress Chae Si Ra looked agelessly gorgeous in her two-piece ensemble.

Kang Ye Won, who is currently appearing on “We Got Married,” showed up on the red carpet as well.

Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon didn’t grace the red carpet, but she appeared later as a presenter and also won the Hallyu Drama OST Award. Many K-Pop fans in the audience kept commenting on her beauty.
