2015 MAMA: BIGBANG and EXO Take Home The Grand Prizes

BIGBANG was the big winner this year, taking home “Worldwide Favorite Artist,” “Song of the Year” and the grand prize “Artist of the Year.” This was their third time winning “Artist of the Year,” having also done so in 2008 and 2012.

EXO, had four awards, including “Best Male Group” and also “Album of the Year” for the third year in a row. It was a dominant night for SM Entertainment as Girls’ Generation won “Best Girl Group,” SHINee won “Best Male Dance” and Red Velvet with “Best Female Dance.”

The biggest performance of the night was easily 2NE1 coming back together on stage as a complete group. With a lot of focus put onto CL’s solo debut, many did not see this one coming. Hopefully we can see a 2NE1 comeback soon.
