The main cast members of the fantasy historical drama discussed their roles and answered questions from reporters. Yoon Shi Yoon plays Heo Jun who experiences difficulties due to being the child of a concubine despite his intellect and potential. Kim Sae Ron plays Yeon Hee who is a cursed princess turned witch. The pair meet and their lives change after falling in love.

Lead actor Yoon Shi Yoon proved to be the life of the party with his witty and comical answers. He talked about “Mirror of the Witch” being his comeback drama after fulfilling his military enlistment duties. The actor proved to be the mood-maker of the group as he continued to crack jokes and make his co-stars laugh. Yoon Shi Yoon also showed his caring side as he tried to encourage and protect Kim Sae Ron. He asked for people to not worry about the age gap between them and revealed that their characters are both 17. Furthermore, Yoon Shi Yoon got teary-eyed when his co-stars mentioned Choi Sung Won and how he had to leave the drama following his diagnosis of acute leukemia.
