BTS Tops Chart With "Blood Sweat & Tears"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2016, October Week 5
BTS is unstoppable this week as their new song “Blood Sweat & Tears” moves up eight spots to become our new No. 1 song! This song swept all the music shows last week, and also had a strong presence on the independent charts. BTS also tops our Soompi Airplay as the hottest trending artist. Congratulations to BTS!
There are three new songs in the top 10 this week, two of which belong to Davichi. Moving up ten spots to No. 2 is “Beside Me.” This song is one of the two title tracks from Davichi’s mini-album “50 X HALF.” Davichi’s signature vocal harmony is heard throughout this song.
Up 14 spots to No. 6 is Crush’s latest hit “Fall,” which comes from his mini-album “Wonderlust.” This R&B song uses a minimal instrumental, and also showcases Crush’s laid back vocals.
Davichi’s other hit song “Love Is” moves up nine spots to No. 9. This ballad has piano, string and a classical guitar sound. The lyrics cover the varieties of love between lovers, friends, and parents.
