TWICE Reigns With "Knock Knock"; Soompi's K-Pop Music Chart 2017, March Week 3
TWICE’s “Knock Knock” continues as our No. 1 song this week! Despite having very strong challengers, this song is showing no sign of dropping down, as it won on “Inkigayo” and “Show Champion” last week. Overall, it scores even higher than last week. Congratulations again to TWICE!
Taeyeon moves up eight spots to No. 2 with “Fine.” This song won on “M!Countdown” last week and is expected to capture more wins on music shows this week. “Fine” might be in a position to overtake “Knock Knock” for the top spot next week.
Rounding out the top three is BTS’s former No. 1 song “Spring Day.”
There are two new songs in the top 10 this week and both are from up-and-coming female groups. Moving up nine spots to No. 6 is Lovelyz’s latest hit “WoW!” This song is the title track from Lovelyz’s second full length album “R U Ready?” It is an electronic dance track with a retro sound, and showcases the cute and sweet side of the Lovelyz members.
Moving up 11 spots is the first top 10 hit for gugudan. Their song “A Girl Like Me” is coming from their second mini-album “Act 2 Narcissus.” It is a synth pop dance song with addictive melody. The lyrics are about a confident girl who confesses to the guy that she’s interested in.
