Actors Yoo Ji Tae and Kim Hyo Jin Tie the Knot

Actors Yoo Ji Tae (35) and Kim Hyo Jin (27) tied the knot today, December 2, at the Shilla Hotel in Seoul. The event was a closed-ceremony, and the happy couple gave a short press conference before the wedding to express their happiness.

Yoo Ji Tae stated, “Thank you for coming. Please look after us as we work hard to live a happy life together.” The bride also added, “Today is such a wonderful day. We’ll be happy.”

The happy couple met back in 2003 during a photoshoot and started dating in 2006. Yoo Ji Tae revealed that they purposely set their wedding date to December 2 as it marks 1,825 days, exactly 5 years, since they started dating.

The ceremony was filled with celeb guests like SNSD’s Soo Young, Super Junior’s Choi Si Won, Ha Ji Won, Lee Byung Hyun, Cha Seung Won, Soo Ae, Kim Hye Soo, Moon Geun Young, Ji Jin Hee, Tablo, Kim Joo Ho, and others.

The celebrity couple share a passion for volunteering and have been appointed honorary ambassadors for World Vision in 2011. In 2010, the couple donated 20 million won to the Haiti earthquake relief among countless volunteer services. Additionally, they have announced that they will donate the monetary gifts from their wedding to World Vision to help an elementary school in Myanmar.
