BTS Continues Record Streak As "IDOL" MV Surpasses 60 Million Views

BTS has set another record with “IDOL!”

On August 25 at approximately 8:30 p.m. KST, the music video for “IDOL” surpassed 60 million views on YouTube. BTS achieved the feat in 26 hours and 30 minutes, as the music video was released on August 24 at 6 p.m. KST.

This breaks their previous record with “Fake Love,” which achieved 60 million views in about one day and 19 hours since its release, making “IDOL” at least the fastest Korean group music video to reach the milestone.

BTS also achieved an impressive number of views in the first 24 hours of its release, though YouTube has yet to release an official count.
