Kim So Hyun To Host MBC's New Idol Debut Survival Show "Under 19"

Kim So Hyun has joined MBC’s upcoming audition program “Under 19“!

On October 12, the producers of “Under 19” announced that the actress would be hosting the new survival show. A representative of the program stated, “Kim So Hyun will be joining ‘Under 19’ as an MC. As she debuted in her teenage years and received a lot of love as a child star, we expect that she will be able to relate to the [show’s] teenage contestants. Please look forward to it.”

“Under 19” is an audition program that will feature 57 teenage contestants battling for spots in a new boy group. The contestants are divided into three positions—vocals, rap, and dance—with 19 participants in each category.

Super Junior’s Eunhyuk, EXID’s Solji, and Dynamic Duo will be serving as mentors for the contestants in the dance, vocals, and rap categories respectively.

“Under 19,” which kicked off filming earlier this month, is currently scheduled to premiere the first week of November.
