TWICE, BTS, And TVXQ Top Oricon Monthly Album Chart
K-pop groups swept the top three spots on Oricon’s latest monthly album chart!
According to Japanese music chart Oricon, TWICE, BTS, and TVXQ topped its album rankings for the month of September. TWICE’s first Japanese studio album “BDZ,” which was released last month and has since been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ), took No. 1 on the chart.
BTS’s “Love Yourself: Answer” and TVXQ’s “Tomorrow,” both of which were certified gold by the RIAJ earlier this month, charted at No. 2 and No. 3 respectively.
iKON and SEVENTEEN also made the top 10 of Oricon’s latest monthly album chart. iKON’s Japanese version of “Return,” which was released last month, debuted at No. 6; while SEVENTEEN’s Korean mini album “You Make My Day” came in at No. 9 for September.
