TWICE Sets K-Pop Girl Group Record For First Week Album Sales With "Feel Special"
TWICE has once again broken their own record!
Until this year, TWICE’s 2017 album “twicetagram” held the K-pop girl group record for the highest first week album sales, having recorded 129,691 copies on Hanteo Chart in its first week. This record was broken several times in April of this year with the releases of IZ*ONE’s “HEART*IZ,” BLACKPINK’s “Kill This Love,” and TWICE’s “FANCY YOU.”
TWICE’s newest album “Feel Special” was released on September 23, and the girl group once again set a new record with 154,028 copies sold in its first week, breaking the previous record of 151,051 set by “FANCY YOU.”
