SEVENTEEN Earns Title Of 'Million Seller' With Impressive 1st-Week Sales Of 'Heng:garæ'

SEVENTEEN is celebrating an amazing achievement by earning the title of “million seller” with their latest comeback!

Aaccording to Hanteo Chart on June 29, the group sold 1,097,891 copies of their seventh mini album “Heng:garæ” in their first week from June 22 to June 28. Not only did they top Hanteo’s weekly charts, but they have also set a personal record for the highest first-week sales and have earned the title of “million seller.” The mini album is now the album with the second highest first-week sales in 2020 and the third highest first-week sales for K-pop overall.

The current top 5 of first-week album sales are as follows:

  1. BTS “Map of the Soul: 7” (2020) – 3,378,633
  2. BTS “Map of the Soul: Persona” (2019) – 2,130,480
  3. SEVENTEEN “Heng:garæ” (2020) – 1,097,891
  4. BTS “Love Yourself: Tear” (2018) – 1,003,524
  5. BTS “Love Yourself: Answer” (2018) – 868,052

Anticipation was high for this mini album even before its release as stock pre-orders (the amount of album stock that is produced prior to the album’s release) had surpassed 1.06 million albums by June 12. The group then went on to break their previous record for first-week sales of 700,863 copies in just four days.

SEVENTEEN’s latest title track “Left & Right” has not only topped Korean music streaming charts, but it also topped the iTunes Top Albums charts in 27 regions as well.
