BTS's "Dynamite" Achieves Silver Certification In The UK

BTS’s “Dynamite” has gone silver in the United Kingdom!

According to the British Phonographic Industry, “Dynamite” received silver certification on October 23 local time. Singles are certified as silver in the United Kingdom when they achieve 200,000 units.

This is BTS’s second single to be certified silver in the United Kingdom, after “Boy With Luv” (featuring Halsey) did so in February 2020.

“Dynamite” is BTS’s first English-language single and was released in August 2020. It is the first single from an all-Korean act to hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The single has remained in the Top 10 of the Hot 100 in the nine weeks since it has been released, taking No. 1 again two more times in that period.

Several of BTS’s albums have also gone silver in the United Kingdom, including “Face Yourself,” “Love Yourself: Answer,” “Map of the Soul: Persona,” “Love Yourself: Tear,” “Map of the Soul: 7,” and “Love Yourself: Her.”
