TWICE Returns To Top 40 Of Billboard 200 As "Formula Of Love: O+T=<3" Breaks Record For Highest-Charting Album By Female K-Pop Act In Its 6th Week
TWICE has made Billboard history with their latest album!
On December 29 local time, Billboard announced that TWICE’s third studio album “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” had climbed back up its Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States) for the week ending on January 1.
In its sixth consecutive week on the Billboard 200, “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” shot back up to No. 36, setting a new record for the highest sixth-week ranking of any album by a female K-pop act in history on Billboard’s main albums chart.
The only other album by a female K-pop act ever to spend six weeks on the Billboard 200 at all is BLACKPINK‘s “THE ALBUM.”
TWICE also previously made Billboard history with “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” in the first week of its release, when the album debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200—making TWICE the first K-pop girl group in history with two top 10 albums.
The Billboard 200 wasn’t the only Billboard chart TWICE climbed back up this week: “Formula of Love: O+T=<3” rose to No. 2 on the World Albums chart, in addition to claiming No. 8 on both the Top Album Sales chart and the Top Current Album Sales chart.
TWICE also re-entered Billboard’s Artist 100 at No. 65, while their hit song “The Feels” stayed strong at No. 68 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart and No. 128 on the Global 200.
Congratulations to TWICE on their new Billboard record!
