NCT 127 Becomes 1st K-Pop Artist To Spend 14 Weeks On Billboard 200 With 2021 Album
NCT 127 is wrapping up the year by extending their own 2021 record on the Billboard 200!
On December 29 local time, Billboard revealed that NCT 127’s latest studio album “Sticker” had stayed strong at No. 85 on its Top 200 Albums chart (its weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States) for the week ending on January 1.
After initially debuting at No. 3, “Sticker” has now spent 14 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200, making it the only K-pop album released in 2021 to chart for 14 weeks (consecutive or non-consecutive). NCT 127 is also only the third K-pop artist in history ever to chart an album for 14 consecutive weeks on the Billboard 200, following BTS and BLACKPINK.
Additionally, NCT 127’s hit album remained a force to be reckoned with on several other Billboard charts this week. “Sticker” came in at No. 3 on the World Albums chart, No. 7 on the Independent Albums chart, No. 12 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, and No. 16 on the Top Album Sales chart.
Congratulations to NCT 127!
