Lee Yoo Bi Is An Aspiring Star In Upcoming Revenge Drama "The Escape Of The Seven"
Upcoming SBS drama “The Escape of the Seven” has unveiled the first stills featuring Lee Yoo Bi!
Starring Uhm Ki Joon, Hwang Jung Eum, Lee Joon, Lee Yoo Bi, Shin Eun Kyung, Yoon Jong Hoon, Jo Yoon Hee, and Jo Jae Yoon, “The Escape of the Seven” follows the story of seven characters involved in the disappearance of a young girl, who was tangled in a complicated web of lies and ambition. “The Escape of the Seven” is the third joint project by scriptwriter Kim Soon Ok and director Joo Dong Min who previously worked together on “The Last Empress” and the hit “The Penthouse” series.
Lee Yoo Bi will transform into Han Mo Ne, a campus star and idol trainee who has everything from dazzling beauty to a wealthy family and outstanding talent. In the still image below, Han Mo Ne in her school uniform smiles brightly as she holds a basketball in her hands.
Another still captures Han Mo Ne practicing dancing. Her desire to become a star is conveyed through her intense gaze.
Han Mo Ne’s confident facial expression in front of the camera is also eye-catching. Even though she seems to lack nothing, she has a fatal weakness which are her lies. Han Mo Ne is deeply involved in an incident which led a girl to tragedy in the past. Viewers are curious to find out how Mo Ne’s decision that she made “that day” will change her life completely.
Lee Yoo Bi remarked, “Han Mo Ne is everyone’s star who shines anytime and anywhere. But behind this, she is a person with a weakness which is fatal enough to make her lose everything. Not only [did I pay attention to] styling Mo Ne as an idol, I also practiced a lot to express her singing and dancing naturally. Moreover, as [the drama] takes a picaresque structure, I contemplated a lot on how to immerse into and express the villain’s emotions well. I hope viewers will enjoy watching it too.”
“The Escape of the Seven” is set to premiere on September 15 at 10 p.m. KST. Watch a teaser here!
