Honey Lee Has A Trusty Friend And Partner In Crime In Park Se Hyun In 'Knight Flower'

MBC’s upcoming drama “Knight Flower” (also known as “Flower That Blooms at Night”) has shared a sneak peek of the chemistry between Honey Lee and Park Se Hyun!

Set in the Joseon era, “Knight Flower” is an action-comedy drama starring Honey Lee as Jo Yeo Hwa, a woman who has lived a quiet and modest life as a virtuous widow by day for 15 years. However, she is secretly leading a double life: at night, she valiantly sneaks out to help those in need. Lee Jong Won will star in the drama as Park Soo Ho, a military officer who inadvertently becomes entangled with Jo Yeo Hwa.

Park Se Hyun will play the role of Yeon Sun, Jo Yeo Hwa’s trusty attendant and closest friend. As Jo Yeo Hwa is constantly getting up to all sorts of trouble, Yeon Sun is always busy looking after and taking care of her despite her young age.

Because the two are even closer than family, they also connect so well that they can communicate just by looking into each other’s eyes. As a result, Yeon Sun plays an essential role in Jo Yeo Hwa’s action-packed double life as a masked swordswoman.

In newly released stills from the upcoming drama, Jo Yeo Hwa prepares to go out at night in her all-black disguise as Yeon Sun nervously hides in waiting. Notably, Yeon Sun seems to be wearing Jo Yeo Hwa’s mourning attire, raising the question of what these two women could be up to.

Another set of stills captures the duo at risk of getting kicked out of their home. As both women kneel on the floor in desperation, Yeon Sun passionately implores someone to let them off.

To see more of this dynamic duo, catch the premiere of “Knight Flower” on January 12, 2024 at 9:50 p.m. KST. In the meantime, check out a teaser for the drama here!
