Stray Kids Becomes 2nd K-Pop Artist In RIAA History To Earn U.S. Gold Certifications With More Than One Album
Stray Kids has gone gold in the United States once again!
On February 20 local time, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded Stray Kids’ latest mini album “ROCK-STAR” an official gold certification for over 500,000 units sold in the United States.
“ROCK-STAR” is Stray Kids’ second album to be certified gold by the RIAA, following their previous album “★★★★★ (5-STAR)”—and it marks their third RIAA certification overall, as their 2020 song “God’s Menu” also went gold in the United States this past October.
With this achievement, Stray Kids has become only the second K-pop artist in RIAA history to earn gold certifications for more than one album (following BTS).
Congratulations to Stray Kids!
