Chuu Wins Second Trial Against Her Former Agency BlockBerryCreative

Chuu has won the second trial against her former agency BlockBerryCreative.

On March 8, the 7th Civil Division of the Seoul High Court ruled in favor of the plaintiff Chuu again in the second trial of a lawsuit against BlockBerryCreative. Regarding the ruling, the court remarked, “We judged that the conclusion of the first trial was reasonable.”

Previously in December 2022, Chuu filed a lawsuit against her former agency BlockBerryCreative to confirm the invalidity of her exclusive contract on grounds such as unfair profit settlement and collapse of trust. The court initially referred the case to mediation in March 2023, but the two parties failed to reach an agreement. In August of last year, Chuu was ruled in favor of in the first trial. BlockBerryCreative appealed against the first trial ruling, but the ruling remained the same in the appeal case.

Chuu is currently promoting under her new agency ATRP.
