BTS's V Achieves His Highest Ranking Yet On Spotify's Global Chart With "FRI(END)S"
BTS’s V is soaring to new heights with his latest solo release!
On March 15 at 1 p.m. KST, V dropped his new digital single “FRI(END)S,” which immediately shot to the top of iTunes charts in numerous countries all over the world.
The following day, “FRI(END)S” entered Spotify’s daily Global Top Songs chart at No. 7 after racking up an impressive 4,728,233 filtered streams on the first day of its release.
The debut marks V’s highest ranking yet on the chart as a solo artist, breaking the personal record set by his 2023 pre-release single “Love Me Again” (which debuted at No. 10 last year).
Additionally, “FRI(END)S” achieved the highest first-day streams of any K-pop song released in 2024 thus far.
Meanwhile, “FRI(END)S” entered Oricon’s daily digital singles chart at No. 2, followed by the instrumental version of the song at No. 4, the “Slowed Down” version at No. 7, and the “Sped Up” version at No. 8.
