Stray Kids Becomes 2nd K-Pop Act In RIAA History To Earn U.S. Gold Certifications With 3 Songs
Stray Kids has gone gold in the United States yet again!
On June 13 local time, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) awarded Stray Kids’ 2020 hit “Back Door” an official gold certification for selling over 500,000 units in the United States.
“Back Door” is Stray Kids’ third song to be certified gold by the RIAA, following “God’s Menu” and “MANIAC,” which just went gold last month. The single also marks their fifth RIAA certification overall—the group previously earned U.S. gold certifications with their 2023 albums “★★★★★ (5-STAR)” and “ROCK-STAR.”
With this latest achievement, Stray Kids has become only the second K-pop artist in RIAA history to earn gold certifications for three different songs (following BTS).
Congratulations to Stray Kids!
